Note: This has to be done first in the client (000) then, in the client (100).
- Go to transaction SLDAPICUST:- if your instance permits you to connect to the SLD via HTTP, then you can proceed.
- If you don't have this HTTP connection enabled, you will need to create a new RFC connection via Tcode SM59.
- Enter Destination: SAPSLDAPI.
- Connection Type: T
- Click on Technical settings
- Click on Registered Server Program and enter the program ID: SAPSLDAPI_SMP.
- Enter Gateway host and gateway service.
- Click on the Unicode tab and click on Unicode.
- SAVE.
- Click on Test.
Note: Once done, run transaction code SLDCHECK, you will get prompted with a health check on your SLD connection.
Alternatively to check SLD check execute FM using SE37 "LCR_GET_OWN_BUSINESS_SYSTEM".
