Customizing NWBC UIBB ( ex: Finance Accounting Governance )

• To get Application and Application Configuration name.

1.  Go to transaction code NWBC.
2. Click on Finance Accounting Governance.
3. Right-click and click on Technical help.
4. You can see the Application: WDR_CHIP_PAGE and Configuration name: MDG_BS_FIN_ACC_HOME_PFCG_04.

• To create a customized component configuration.

1. Go to transaction code SE80.
2. Enter the Application Name: WDR_CHIP_PAGE
3. Expand Component Configuration.
4. Search for MDG_BS_FIN_ACC_HOME_PFCG_04.
5. Right-click and click on Create.
6. Enter the Component Name :WDR_CHIP_PAGE  and Configuration ID: MDG_BS_FIN_ACC_HOME_PFCG_04.
7. Click on Copy.
8. Enter the Z configuration ID and click on OK.
9. Save it in Transport Request.

• To create customized Application Configurations.

1. Expand Webdynpro Applications.
2. Expand wdr_chip_page.
3. Expand Appl. Configurations.
4. Search for MDG_BS_FIN_ACC_HOME_PFCG_04.
5. Right-click and click on Create.
6. Enter the Application Name and Configuration ID and click on Create.
7. Enter the Configuration Name.
8. Click on SAVE.

• To get instance.

1. Go to NWBC.
2. Click on Finance Accounting Governance.
3. In Settings, select customize.
4. Select the CHIP layout settings -> Define Link list.
5. We can see Instance: MDGF_ACC_HOME_O4.

• To customize the NWBC links and drop-down List layout.

1. Go to Transaction code LPD_CUST.
2. Search for Instance: MDGF_ACC_HOME_O4 and click on Copy to Z*****.
3. Double click on the Z***** record.
4. Customize the NWBC links and drop-down List layout using Delete, Add  separator.

• Change the instance Name in the Customized Web app Configuration.

1. Go to T-code SE80.
2. Enter the Application Name: WDR_CHIP_PAGE.
3. Expand Webdynpro Applications.
4. Expand wdr_chip_page.
5. Expand Appl. Configurations.
6. Search for Z** app configuration.
7. Select the App and click on Display configuration.
8. Click on Edit-> Test.
9. In Settings, select customize.
10. Select the CHIP layout settings -> Define Link list.
11. Change the instance name with Z** instance name which is created in the above step in all layouts.
12. SAVE.
