SAP BTP Developer - SAP CAP, Fiori, UI5 - 12 Month Contract - Up to $1200 a Day

 My client, a well-established organisation based in Sydney, is seeking a Senior SAP BTP Developer with strong SAP Cloud Platform experience to join the BTP product group within their Digital Services division.

This is a 12 Month Contract with strong likelihood of extension, paying up to $1200 a Day including Super.

You will join their office in North Sydney, with the expectation that you will go into the office one day a week and work from home the rest of the time.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and deploy applications on SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry & Neo), both in cloud and on-premise environments.
• Work on SAP UI5/Fiori, SAP CAP, and In-App Extensions.
• Work collaboratively across custom cloud applications to ensure system development is achieved in line with deployment timeframes and product release schedules
• Support the existing applications, recommend viable solutions and focus on new cutting-edge technology developments
• Deploy code and configuration releases into test and production environments and ensure testing is carried out in accordance with set requirements with errors reported and rectified
• Provide superior technical guidance on solutions and continuous improvement and integration together with system stabilisation
• Work with senior development resources to identify and address operational bottlenecks in support procedures
• Ensure work is delivered in line with local procedure and multiple deployment schedules for the applications deployment
• Assist deployment teams with triage and resolution of application related issues
• Contribute and actively develop supporting documentation and operating procedures
• Participation in on-call roster for the application solution where required  

Skills and Experience Required 

• Front end application development with SAP UI5/Flori
• Backend programming experience with SAP ABAP, HANA or Cloud Application Programming framework (CAP)
• Exposure to SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Knowledge of SAP ASM Module is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Effective communicator and team-player
• Curious and enthusiastic about developing technology and applications
• Be a quick and willing learner with a "can do" attitude
• Able to work to deadlines without supervision

They are ideally looking for candidates that have experience developing custom SAP applications on BTP using CAP.
