Sydney, Australia:Data / Reporting Analyst - Power BI, Tableau, DAX & SAP Analytics - 12M CONTRACT

We have (12 Month Contract) Data/Reporting Analyst role available.

This will see you working on a Large-Scale Rostering System Replacement Program.

You will be responsible for Analysing Data, and Data Modelling in SAP Hana.

You will be responsible for Operational Reporting for the Business, and Financial Reporting (to lesser extent).

As a strong communicator, you will need to understand what the business is looking for to optimise business operations and business outcomes 

Key Responsibilities

• Data Modelling in SAP Hana
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)
• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful business insights and trends.
• Engage with business stakeholders to solicit reporting requirements
• Own and drive the alignment of critical business metrics for various stakeholders, from C-suite level to working group level.
• Lead the collaboration and coordination with IT team members to deliver on required outcomes.
• Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across reports.
• Automate reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts.
• Troubleshoot data and reporting issues, providing timely resolutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users on reporting tools and dashboards.

Essential Skills & Experience Required:

• Experience with Data Modelling in SAP Hana
• Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), including creating Dashboards, Data Modelling, and DAX calculations (Essential)
• Experience with Datawarehouse/Data Lake technology stacks such as Azure or AWS data pipelines.
• Strong SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
• Experience working with operational and financial datasets within a workforce/rostering environment (Highly Desirable)
• Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience with Python/R for data analysis is ideal
