Burnley, Victoria, Australia: SAP Retail logistics specialist & implementation Lead immediate joiners only

We are seeking two key SAP roles to lead and deliver critical enterprise programs focused on supply chain and retail logistics innovation.

Working in Burnley (2 days wfh) for a Leading Australian company, these are 6 month contracts with strong chance of extensions.

SAP Implementation Lead

This senior leadership role will oversee the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale SAP transformation, ensuring strategic alignment, managing vendors and stakeholders, and driving successful execution across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead SAP program delivery, ensuring alignment with industry-standard methodologies (SAP Activate, ITIL).
• Develop business cases and program roadmaps in collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Manage risk, issue resolution, and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Drive stakeholder engagement and change leadership across business and technology teams.
• Oversee program governance, deployment, and transition to support.

Key Requirements:

• 15+ years in large SAP program delivery, including enterprise-wide transformation.
• Proven leadership in SAP project management, vendor management, and enterprise design.
• Strong commercial acumen, problem-solving skills, and ability to influence at all levels.
• Postgraduate qualifications in business, accounting, or related fields preferred.

Senior SAP Retail Logistics Specialist

This role is responsible for defining, designing, and implementing SAP solutions to enhance retail logistics capabilities. You will work closely with business stakeholders to ensure SAP systems support operational excellence and future growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with supply chain and logistics stakeholders to define business requirements and deliver SAP solutions.
• Lead solution design, estimation, and implementation for SAP ERP (IS Retail), SAP CAR, SAP BW, and integrations with platforms such as warehouse and e-commerce management systems.
• Provide expert support and problem resolution for SAP Logistics solutions.
• Engage with vendors and maintain alignment with SAP roadmap and industry trends.
• Mentor team members and contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience in SAP Retail Logistics implementation and support.
• Deep expertise in SAP ECC or S/4HANA logistics solutions, including integration with other enterprise systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive change in a complex environment.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Tertiary qualifications in IT or a business-related discipline.
