Hiring: SAP MDG with Finance

 Key Responsibilities

1. Integration of SAP MDG and SAP Finance:
   
• Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of financial data governance processes in SAP MDG.
• Ensure that master data related to finance (e.g., G/L accounts, profit centers, business partners) is consistent, accurate, and complies with organizational and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct data quality checks, analyze data issues, and define resolution processes.
• Collaborate with SAP Finance consultants to ensure proper integration between SAP MDG and finance master data in the SAP system landscape.
2. Data Quality and Compliance:
   
• Implement data quality frameworks and validation rules to ensure the integrity of financial data.
• Develop reports and dashboards for data quality monitoring and improvement initiatives.
• Conduct periodic audits of financial master data to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
3. End-User Training & Support:
   
• Provide end-user training for SAP MDG functionality with an emphasis on finance master data management.
• Offer ongoing support to business users for any issues related to SAP MDG and financial data.
• Work with business teams to develop user manuals, process documentation, and troubleshooting guides.
4. System Optimization and Continuous Improvement:
   
• Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvements in SAP MDG and SAP Finance.
• Stay current with SAP updates and new features to recommend and implement improvements.
• Participate in system upgrades, enhancements, and migrations, ensuring data governance processes remain intact.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate) is a plus.
• Experience:
• 4+ years of experience working with SAP MDG in a financial context, preferably with experience in SAP Finance (FI/CO).
• Strong understanding of financial master data management processes (e.g., chart of accounts, vendor management, business partners).
• Experience in configuring, implementing, and maintaining SAP MDG with SAP Finance integration.
