Ferno Australia is a leader in the design, manufacture and supply of Emergency, Rescue and Safety equipment. We are currently seeking a self-motivated person with an excellent work ethic to join our Brendale, Brisbane-based team.
Accuracy and attention to detail are critical to this role. The successful candidate will possess strong organisational skills, be hands-on, and have an excellent work ethic.
Responsibilities include:
Creation and maintenance of Material Master data
By using SAP's in-built MRP processes, provide recommendations to management on minimum/maximum stock levels
Ensure that information is correct and accurate when at the Purchase Requisition level to enable fast turnarounds by purchasing.
Continually evaluate stock holdings against vendor lead times to minimise stockouts / excess stock
Work with internal teams such as sales & production to ensure supply is forecasted to meet demand.
General Master Data maintenance
As part of the Procurement team, you will also be upskilled to provide Purchasing Support upon request
Attributes
Experience with SAP ECC
Experience with Power Bi, Crystal Reports and SQL is desirable
An understanding of the LSMW platform is desirable
Great attention to detail
Sound numerical skills
