SLT : SAP Landscape Transformation

• SLT (SAP Landscape Transformation ) is a data migration tool.
• SLT used for real-time replication of data from SAP or Non-SAP to SAP-HANA immediately (Insert , Update, Delete etc )

• SAP system communicates with SLT using RFC ( Remote function Call ) connection.
• Non-SAP system communicates with SLT using DB connection.
• SLT system communicates with SAP-HANA using DB connection.

Activities to execute.

• Configuration : Establish the connection between SAP or Non-SAP ( source systems ) , SLT and SAP-HANA (destination system ).

1. Create RFC using SM59 transaction code ( SAP to SLT connection ). 
2. Create Configuration using Transaction code LTRC ( Landscape Transformation Replication Server Cockpit ) (SAP-SLT-HANA connection).
3. Once Configuration is successful in LTRC , then in SAP-HANA same name of configuration , schema will creates and   DD02L , DD02T , DD08L tables are creates automatically under this schema.

• Options : Once connection established following options we can execute as per requirement.These options are available in SLT Server as well as HANA Studio.

1. Load
2. Replicate.
3. Suspend.
4. Resume.
5. Stop.
